I think any of these aspects of the wikipedia home page might suit this site well:
The very brief introduction and set of top category links at the top of the page. Highlights from a featured article. A featured picture. "In the news" might be substituted for a feed of recent forum posts. "Other areas" links down lower. lagoonhistory.com and the LiF forum might be something like sister projects. The "did you know" section could be cool too. It's something to start from at least. Jetstar2 (talk) 00:18, 17 December 2014 (MST)

Of course there's also the possibly of giving an overview of Lagoon as a whole. That could either be done here, or there could even be a "Lagoon" page, similar to how wikipedia has a page about wikipedia. Jetstar2 (talk) 00:27, 17 December 2014 (MST)

Anyone have any suggestions on how we should structure the main page for the wiki? --Willenator (talk) 22:36, 16 December 2014 (MST)

I'd look to wikipedia for some ideas on what to do.

Look over what kind of content is on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
