The theme is inspired by the song the coaster is partially named after. The ride originally included a water feature. The ride circles the track three times before coming to a stop.  


The only improvement to the ride that I know of was in 1989 when one of the riders was able to get out of the safety restraints. Lagoon improved on the restraints quickly to prevent this problem from happening again.
Puff's dragon theme is common among smaller roller coasters, but is very uncommon for this particular model of roller coaster.
