Moonraker starts out close to the ground for easy loading of the ride. When in motion the ride raises up into the air and starts rotating in a clockwise direction. Once at it's full height the top of the ride tilts and rotates as the whole ride spins. Moonraker is a Kiddie Ride at Lagoon
Ride Details
Moonraker starts out close to the ground for easy loading of the ride. When in motion the ride raises up into the air and starts rotating in a clockwise direction. Once at it's full height the top of the ride tilts and rotates as the whole ride spins. This is very similar to the operation of Turn of the Century.
I have seen kids ride this ride and they love it. The ride makes all sorts of noises while they are in the air and has a futuristic look to it. I believe riders have the ability to push buttons to add to the noise, but I'm not 100% certain on that.
Moonraker doesn't have much of a history. At least I have not been able to find anything on the ride.
