Moderate Thrill

In it's day the Log Flume was one of a kind back in Pioneer Village. A classic log flume ride where you board a "log" and travel through a water trough until you reach the hill. Then you travel up a conveyer belt to the top of the hill only to discover that there is a chute of water heading down to the water trough. The thrill of the ride is speeding down the hill and making a big splash at the bottom.

Since the Log Flume was installed other water rides have been added to the park. Rides like Hydro Luge and Rattlesnake Rapids kind of dwarf the drenching power of the Log Flume. But that doesn't make the ride less entertaining. It's still a lot of fun watching those logs with people come splashing down and seeing how many people try to avoid getting wet.

If you would like to ride the Log Flume and avoid getting really wet then I recommend the front seat. When you reach the top of the hill then lean as far forward as you can get in the seat. If you are lucky enough then most of the water will head over you and soak the people in the back seat. But I won't make guarantees because it also is based on the weight of the boat.
