Bakery Fresh

Bakery Fresh is a food stand located on Main Street in Pioneer Village. It opened in 2018 and replaced what was known as the Pioneer Village Bakery.

Food Stand Details

Bakery Fresh provides a healthier food option to park guests with an assortment of salads and wraps. The menu shows a selection of salads you can purchase, or you can make your own. Any salad can be turned into a wrap.

Food Options

• The Village Green - Fresh mixed greens topped with grilled chicken breast, shredded carrots, fresh cucumber wedges, grape tomatoes, and sweet corn niblets. Plus your choice of dressing.
• The Pioneer Chicken B.L.T. - Fresh mixed greens topped with grilled chicken breast, bacon crumbles, grape tomatoes, and croutons. Plus your choice of dressing.
• The Golden Spike Cobb - Fresh mixed greens toppped with grilled chicken breast, bacon crumbles, chopped eggs, grape tomatoes, and blue cheese crumbles. Suggest salad dressing: Blue Cheese.
• The Mountain Man Summer Berry - Fresh mixed greens topped with grilled chicken breast, diced strawberries, blueberries, craisins, feta cheese, and slivered almonds. Suggested salad dressing: Blackberry Peppercorn Vinaigrette or Blood Orange Shallot Vinaigrette.
• The Moab Mandarin Chicken - Fresh mixed greens topped with grilled chicken breast, mandarin orange wedges, shredded carrots, slivered almonds, and crispy chow main noodles. Suggested salad dressing: Sesame Ginger.
• The Brigham Caesar - Chopped Romaine topped with grilled chicken breast, grape tomatoes, shaved parmesan cheese, and croutons. Suggested salad dressing: Creamy Caesar.
• The "Life Elevated" Southwest - Fresh mixed greens topped with grilled chicken breast, black beans, grape tomatoes, sweet corn niblets, tortilla strips, and shredded cheddar cheese. Suggested salad dressing: Jalapeno Ranch.
• The Beet Digger - Fresh mixed greens topped with grilled chicken breast, pickled beets, shredded carrots, feta cheese, glazed pecans, and croutons. Suggested salad dressing: Balsamic Vinaigrette.

If you choose to build your own salad, you get a choice of mixed greens or Romaine lettuce and then you can add up to four toppings and then pick a dressing. You can also get grilled chicken on your salad much like the above options.

Building Details

Bakery Fresh contains a display of Utah's first soda fountain on the north side of the building. It also contains the original marble counter with it. This soda fountain was brought to Utah via a wagon and used to be located inside of a building on Main Street and First South in Salt Lake City.

History

Bakery Fresh gets its name from the previous food stand that was there: The Pioneer Village Bakery. The Bakery was known for its fresh-baked goods like cookies and brownies. It is still possible to get various desserts and sweet treats at the new Bakery Fresh, but they are not baked there anymore. Bakery Fresh serves prepackages treats.
